Nike was joined by Ukrainian soccer legend Andriy Shevchenko these days to officially open a renovated soccer pitch, sports ground and gym at the varsity in Kiev where he honed his soccer skills and received his education. The sports facilities were renovated to produce students at the varsity and children within the area people with a high-quality facility to play soccer and different sports and have a passionate gym for indoor sport and physical education.
“Nike understands the facility of sport to create a positive distinction in young people’s lives,” said Nike Central and japanese Europe selling Director Steve Tsoi. “Nike’s renovation of the soccer pitch and gym, combined with Andriy’s commitment to upgrading the varsity building can offer the varsity and native community with a good place for sport and learning.”
Shevchenko was joined by thirty young Ukrainian footballers who created it to the native finals of the prospect, Nike’s explore for soccer talent round the world, at the inauguration of the new soccer pitch. “Football has created such a positive impact on my life and that i needed to be concerned during this project with Nike to offer succeeding generation of footballers a secure place to play with the simplest facilities,” Shevchenko said. “I’m conjointly proud to be concerned during a project that's giving back to the community where I grew up.”
Andriy Shevchenko attended the varsity and lived within the area people. He was discovered as a young soccer talent at age 9 whereas enjoying for the district team during a town tournament. The restored sporting facilities are the primary section of renovations at the native college. Shevchenko’s Foundation has committed to upgrading the school’s building to produce a stronger instructional and learning atmosphere for the scholars.
